DIY Lash Extension Kit Instructions

Follow these step-by-step instructions to achieve professional-looking lash extensions at home using your SENCHA Lash Extension Kit.

What You’ll Need:

The SENCHA Lash Extension Kit, which includes everything you need: lash clusters, adhesive, applicator tool, and bond & seal formula.

Before You Start:

Cleanse Your Lashes: Remove all makeup, oils, and debris from your natural lashes using an oil-free makeup remover. Dry your lashes thoroughly.
Organize Your Workspace: Lay out all the tools and lash clusters in the order you plan to apply them (shorter clusters for inner corners, longer clusters for the outer corners).

Step-by-Step Application:

Step 1: Apply Bond

Brush through your natural lashes with a clean spoolie or the applicator to separate them.
Apply the Bond Formula to your natural lashes. Use a light, even coat, focusing on the base of the lashes. Avoid overloading to prevent clumping - use your finger to gentle wipe off excess product. Bond formula will wash well from your fingers if immediately rinsed under cold water.

Step 2: Apply Lash Clusters

Start from the Outer Corner: Using the applicator tool, pick up a lash cluster by the base (not the tips to prevent damaging the delicate lashes).
Apply bond: Apply a thin layer of the Bond Formula to the lash cluster. Only a little is required.
Position the Cluster: Place the cluster underneath your natural lashes, as close to the lash line as possible. Avoid placing it on your waterline to prevent irritation.
Press to Secure: Gently press the cluster against your natural lashes for a few seconds using the applicator tool. Ensure it adheres securely- you may need to hold for 20-30 seconds.
Repeat: Work your way from the outer corner to the inner corner, overlapping clusters slightly for a seamless look.

Step 3: Seal & Fuse

Once all clusters are applied, apply a thin layer of the Seal Formula to the base of the lash clusters.
IMPORTANT TIP: Apply a thin layer of the Seal Formula to the inside of the tweezers. Use the tweezers, gently squeeze and fuse the lash clusters and your natural lashes together for a more cohesive look.

Aftercare Tips:

Avoid Water for 24 Hours: Let the adhesive fully set by avoiding water, steam, or sweat for the first day.
No Oily Products: Avoid using oil-based makeup removers or skincare products near your lashes, as oil can break down the adhesive.
Brush Daily: Use a clean spoolie to brush through your lashes daily and keep them looking fluffy and aligned.
Sleep on Your Back: Sleeping on your side or stomach can cause lashes to fall out prematurely. If possible, try to sleep on your back to protect them.

Removal Instructions:

Apply an Oil-Based Cleanser or Lash Adhesive Remover: Gently soak a cotton swab with the remover and swipe it over the lash clusters to loosen the adhesive.
Let the Adhesive Break Down: Wait a few minutes, then gently slide the clusters off using the applicator or your fingers.
Cleanse Your Lashes: Wash your natural lashes thoroughly to remove any leftover adhesive.

Pro Tips:

Practice makes perfect! If you’re new to DIY lash extensions, try a few practice rounds before an important event.
For a natural look, mix lash cluster lengths, placing shorter ones on the inner corners and longer ones on the outer corners.
If your lashes feel heavy or uncomfortable, you’ve applied too much adhesive or positioned them incorrectly. Remove and reapply as needed.
